Delaware Wedding Photographer | Brantwyn Estate | Hannah + Travis

Wedding

Hannah and Travis were all nerves the day of their wedding at Brantwyn Estate in Wilmington, Delaware. They were just as sweet that day as they were on their engagement session at Ridley Creek State Park. The day was beautiful and the butterflies in their stomachs were going crazy as the start time to the wedding was upon them.

Hannah could not have looked any more gorgeous.

There was some lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress and her grandparents’ attached to her bouquet.

Brantwyn looked fantastic that day.

The ladies were buzzing by the windows as they watched the guests gather in the lower gardens for the ceremony.

Several deep breaths and a few tears between Hannah and her father before they walked out the doors.

Travis got so teary during the ceremony at the rehearsal the night before that Hannah wouldn’t even attempt it. She just knew she would be a mess. Travis and Hannah unconsciously played with each other’s hands throughout the ceremony.

They were so relieved when the ceremony was over!

After the cocktail hour, the guests gathered on the back lawn for Hannah and Travis to share their first dance together and husband and wife, “Whatever It Is” by the Zac Brown Band.

The formalities pretty much ended after that. Guests went inside to eat, drink, and dance their butts off. Hannah and Travis pretty much stayed by each others’ side all evening long, chatting with guests and rocking it on the dancefloor.

It was a fantastic day and I am so happy for you two!

Cause when she loves me
Girl that’s how I feel
Cause when she loves me I’m on top of the world
Cause when she loves me I can live forever
And she loves me I am untouchable

Brianne + Scott’s wedding at Pen Ryn Mansion
I hardly know where to begin with Bree and Scott. This is the gorgeous couple I shot at Longwood Gardens back in March for their engagement session. They celebrated their wedding at Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, PA, about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia, on a perfect day in October. It was sunny and 70 degrees after several days of miserable rain and temperatures in the mid 50s. The breeze coming off the Delaware River was just right. The guys got ready down the street while the ladies had the run of the mansion. Bree looked incredible. Her ballgown from Ashley's Bridal Couture had intricate beading and Belle-type pickups. ...

Destination Wedding in Italy | Castello di Vincigliata | MINE!
Many of you have asked about MY wedding.  Well, it was beautiful and amazing and I would never in a million years do it that way again!  Little Miss Type A, professional wedding photographer holding a destination wedding in a country I had never visited, speaking a language I don’t know, on a continent an ocean away…  Yeah, it was stressful but so, so fabulous.  (And I admit it was pretty cool to say I was having a destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy.) Here is my story of the day and some of the snapshots from myself and our 25 guests.  You can see the professional pictures (by the oh-so-talented Alison Conklin Photography team of Alison ...
