Main Line engagement photographer | Haverford College | Lindi + Michael

Engagement

This engagement session, and quite frankly the relationship, is pretty pooch-centered. I mean, it’s kind of hard not to fall for a happy, floppy goldendoodle. She was just 9 pounds when they took her home but Tobi, at 50 lbs now and celebrating her 1 year birthday, is pretty full grown with all of the energy that you’d expect.

But let me back up to the beginning of Lindi + Michael.

Their story is fabulous! They met online (hooray!). Michael noted that she was attractive, charming, and, most importantly, active. Michael messaged Lindi but didn’t have much of a profile up so she (understandably) didn’t respond. Michael had the gall to call her out on this, eventually giving her his name so she could do some creep-checking. She hilariously looked him up on Athlinks, a website for athletes’ race results, was impressed with his times, and gave him a chance.

They met up for coffee for their first date. She was training for a marathon and he an Ironman. Their second date was a run through Central Park.

There were obviously undeniable sparks because they got Tobi and moved in together within 3 months.

In July of this year they went walking on the beach while vacationing with the family. Michael had plans to propose then but they were kicked off the beach for having a dog. Through much coercion, he finally convinced Lindi to go back out for another walk later when he popped the question.

I met up with this adorable, fast trio the other week on a beautiful fall day at Haverford College, near where Lindi grew up.

It was such a joy to get them (relatively) still for a little while. I can’t wait to see them again at their wedding at Pomme next March!

Chester County Engagement Photographer | Longwood Gardens | Alexa + Donny
Alexa knew she wanted a country boy. Enter Donny, a guy who grew up on a farm and still has pedicure responsibilities for the goats. The met online (hooray!) last year and the connection was clear. Their first date was after a shift of hers that ended at 11:45pm. They closed down the restaurant and talked until 2:30am. Conversation was effortless. He made her laugh on that night in June and he makes her laugh now. We met up at Longwood Gardens for their engagement photography session. Alexa, being the the nontraditionalist that she is, didn’t want Longwood for its impeccable hand-raised flowers. She wanted to use the other parts of L ...

Main Line Engagement Photographer | Bryn Mawr |Laura + Marc
I had the immense pleasure of hanging out with one perfectly quirky couple one evening in Bryn Mawr.  They are first shy and apprehensive (there’s a person with a camera right there) but after some cajoling, dandelions, and popcorn, there was plenty to say.  I present to you… Laura and Marc! These two had the best online dating luck ever.  They were each others’ first date.  He had been online for a while but never contacted anyone; she was on for a week and a half and responded to a particularly hilarious story Marc had put up about a 3am exercise incident.  Their first date was dinner and a movie, after which they sat and talked for ...
