Main Line engagement photographer | Haverford College | Lindi + Michael

Engagement

This engagement session, and quite frankly the relationship, is pretty pooch-centered. I mean, it’s kind of hard not to fall for a happy, floppy goldendoodle. She was just 9 pounds when they took her home but Tobi, at 50 lbs now and celebrating her 1 year birthday, is pretty full grown with all of the energy that you’d expect.

But let me back up to the beginning of Lindi + Michael.

Their story is fabulous! They met online (hooray!). Michael noted that she was attractive, charming, and, most importantly, active. Michael messaged Lindi but didn’t have much of a profile up so she (understandably) didn’t respond. Michael had the gall to call her out on this, eventually giving her his name so she could do some creep-checking. She hilariously looked him up on Athlinks, a website for athletes’ race results, was impressed with his times, and gave him a chance.

They met up for coffee for their first date. She was training for a marathon and he an Ironman. Their second date was a run through Central Park.

There were obviously undeniable sparks because they got Tobi and moved in together within 3 months.

In July of this year they went walking on the beach while vacationing with the family. Michael had plans to propose then but they were kicked off the beach for having a dog. Through much coercion, he finally convinced Lindi to go back out for another walk later when he popped the question.

I met up with this adorable, fast trio the other week on a beautiful fall day at Haverford College, near where Lindi grew up.

It was such a joy to get them (relatively) still for a little while. I can’t wait to see them again at their wedding at Pomme next March!

I’m 95% sure Vanessa is an international spy.  Trying to coordinate schedules to talk and meet up was difficult when she was jetsetting all over the place “selling juice.”  I’ll go along with the story.  Whatever. She, Jeff, Scout, and I got together for their extended engagement session around Washington Square, Old City, and Broad Street.  Scout is an adorable and highly active 6 year old German Shorthair Pointer that came with Vanessa.  She is convinced Scout loves Jeff more though. As the story goes, the two (Vanessa and Jeff) met at a training class in Chicago and formed an instant friendship over craft beer, pizza, their ...

Montgomery County Engagement Photographer | Jennifer + Mel
Jennifer and Mel live in a magical place. They have wild horses in their backyard. I arrived and was ushered outside to see about a dozen of them running past. You could hear their hooves. They also house a vocal cat, two hairy guinea pigs, and something about a well-loved Quesadilla.I knew I wanted to be a part of their lives/wedding from my first interaction with Jenn and I was so excited to meet her Mel.The two met at massage therapy school years ago. Upon seeing Mel the very first time, Jenn knew she was a big deal – enough to make her speechless.I finally met them in person for their engagement session at their new home. They were ...

Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Lincoln Financial Field | Sarah + Chuck [teaser]
Sarah knew that the only way to get engagement pictures out of Chuck was if they had them done at Lincoln Financial Field. So that’s exactly what they did. So many more pictures from this extended engagement session (we also went to Love Park and the Art Museum!) coming your way.
