Andrea scrunches her nose when she laughs hard and John can’t keeps his eyes off of Andrea when she walks into the room. This all began in 6th grade when Andrea called dibs on the new guy. John asked her out in the parking lot of St. Norbert’s in 8th grade and it was there that they married a few weeks ago. Check out more of the back story of their courtship and engagement session pictures here.
Andrea and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house in Malvern. Her mother’s garter was her something borrowed and her grandmother’s handkerchief was her old and blue. Her incredible satin gown was the first one she tried on at the third shop.
Meanwhile, the guys were doing their thing at John’s parents’ house in Berwyn.
I loved the stained glass windows in this beautiful Catholic church in Paoli.
The priest likened marriage to SCUBA diving, a pastime that they share.
The day was a little warm but the grounds of Chester Valley Golf Club were lush and gorgeous and perfect for formals (used loosely here) and pictures of the newlyweds.
The bridal party was a hoot.
Andrea and John danced their first song together to “Then” by Brad Paisley. I really don’t think they could have picked a more perfect song.
And then John’s younger brother, Truett, stole the show with an awesome speech that had everyone laughing and crying. I’ve heard a lot of speeches. This one was one of the best!
Andrea had warned me that John’s side comprised of serious partiers. How right she was. The dancefloor was bumping all through the reception.
Sometime during the reception, I took this picture of Andrea and John (both hardcore blinkers). I thought it was so hilariously unattractive and told them not to worry, that I’d delete it. Their response: No way, you have to keep it! I love these two!
Andrea and John, congratulations on a beautiful wedding and here’s to many, many, many more years together!
Now you’re my whole life
Now you’re my whole world
I just can’t believe
The way I feel about you girl
Like a river meets the sea
Stronger than it’s ever been
We’ve come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then
