Destination Wedding in St. Augustine, Florida

This wonderfully kind couple were engaged last summer, after being together for seven years. They had a casual beach wedding with smiles all around. I learned a new word at Carla and Ben’s wedding: schvitz. It’s a Yiddish verb meaning ‘sweat’ and we all did a lot of it on that 100+ heat index day. It was a drizzly morning on Candace and Scott’s wedding day. Honestly, this didn’t seem to bother them at all. This was just as I expected after I saw how laid back they were at the engagement session in Fairmount Park this past spring. They held the ceremony and reception at the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel right around the corner from Philly’s Rittenhouse Square.
