In their group of friends from Penn State, Becca and Nick were the only ones not from Philly (she’s from Harrisburg and he’s from central New Jersey). This was obviously bound to happen. Their first date was at a diner that only had a half booth. This means that they sat side by side facing a wall. They ordered food and she chowed down on a burger but he was too nervous to eat. This October will mark their 6 years together and will also bring us together to celebrate their wedding at the DoubleTree in Philadelphia.
They now live in Manayunk together with a cat who snorts but can’t purr and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who has a knack for getting into trouble (as JRTs will do). It seemed only fitting that we do their engagement session in Manayunk.
We met in Pretzel Park and started wandering.
Nick didn’t use many words but his expressions were priceless. I have a pretty good feeling that these two laugh. A lot.
The riverwalk behind the shops of Manayunk can be so gorgeous.
And I so dig the jade green railroad tracks.
Nick popped the question this past December. Becca came home from work and Nick had assembled their little family and proposed.
I am looking forward to what they have in store this October. I can’t wait!
