Sophie was given fair warning about Ben. He lived across the country and neither felt “the spark” on the first date. Call it fate or just plain perseverance but they’re getting married at the end of the month in what I’m certain will be an incredible and emotional day. I walked around with them through a lush little park on Kelly Drive on a sunny day. The two met online. Ben was living in California but working in DC for long stretches at a time so it made sense to look into what the east coast had to offer. She’s practically a Southern belle, growing up outside of Richmond, VA. He grew up in West Chester and attended Eagles training camps as a kid. The two met at James Madison University and live in Arlington now but chose Philly for their engagement session. Sarah figured the only way she could get Chuck to agree was if it was on his home turf – Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.
