Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | University of Pennsylvania | Amanda + Nick

Engagement

Amanda and Nick met at Albright College about 10 years ago. He was her orientation leader. Turns out their first date was at a birthday party for one of Nick’s fraternity brothers. Things apparently went well because they’ve got a wedding coming up this May at the Trump National Golf Club in Pine Hill, New Jersey.

They’ve pretty much lived all over together. He went to graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania and then they took off to Germany together for a few years and then landed in San Diego where they are now. They try to be outdoors together as much as possible, hiking and vitising the beach since they live right by it. We met (for the first time) at Penn’s campus for their engagement session a few weeks ago and had such a good time despite the cold.

They’ve got their own flavor of goofiness together and I absolutely love it!

Nick took Amanda to their favorite Italian restaurant up in California and then retired to a cabin together for the evening. It had to be stressful – he got the cork stuck in the wine bottle and Amanda took “forever” to respond to him (though it was probably closer to a minute) before she blurted out if he had already asked her parents’ permission. Needless to say, she responded yes and I do believe they eventually got into that wine.

They had to rock their home teams. Nick’s from Cherry Hill so naturally he was representing the Phillies. Amanda, from Oregon, rocked the Mariners.

Amanda and Nick, can’t wait to see you back on the east coast in just a few short months for the wedding!

Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Morris Arboretum | Avani + Ankit
Avani and Ankit have been together for 8.5 years, after first meeting at a friend’s party at the University of Michigan. They’ll celebrate with friends and family for an Indian wedding next January. They are big time foodies and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel that Avani brought with her when she moved to the area to be with Ankit (this was after a 6 year long distance relationship!).We wandered around University of Pennsylvania’s Morris Arboretum in for a while for their engagement pictures. If you’ve never been to this gem of a place just north of Chestnut Hill, I definitely recommend it. Morris Arboretum is gorgeous. You’ll see.The c ...
