It is always pretty great spending a few hours with a newborn. The parents are seeing stars, both from the overwhelming “whoa” of now having this little creature that is all theirs and the mind-numbing lack of sleep.
Jeff and Vanessa brought me little Jack. At just 8 days old, he was completely attentive to his mommy. He even cracked a smile or two for us.
With time, we got ourselves a sweet, sleepy baby who just curled up for us.
His teeny baby details were beyond adorable.
Tell me this swirl of hair isn’t swoon-worthy.
Vanessa and Jeff will eventually leave the Northeast for homebase back in Texas. Until then, you can expect to see this sweet face a few more times as he eventually gets too big to fit entirely in daddy’s arms.
A new baby is like the beginning of all things – wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.
