Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Amada | Tomer + Sarah

Wedding

Tomer and Sarah knew what they were doing. After dating for three years and knowing each other even longer, Sarah and Tomer eloped atop a mountain in Virginia, a 3 mile hike where Tomer had popped the question just two months before. It was just them and their officiant, a very close professor who was ordained just for them. It was important that they have something very intimate from day 1.

But where’s the fun in that if there’s not a group of friends and family to help them celebrate their marriage? Enter their reception party help at the delicious Garces restaurant, Amada, in Old City.

It was a chilly December night when their closest 40-something friends and family gathered together for a night of congratulations, drinking, dining, and mingling.

I met up with them a little bit before the party started for a few nighttime pictures in the area.

Tell me you don’t adore Sarah’s party-length ruffled gown and stunner pumps!

The party inside was filled with the expected revelry!

And because I couldn’t help but snatch the shoes when I saw Sarah kick them off later in the night.

I am so, so happy for these two. They both have hearts of gold. Sarah is finishing up school to be a vet and Tomer just earned his doctorate. They live with four big, happy puppies in Virginia.

New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Family’s Private Farm | Kate + Dakota
Kate and Dakota had the rustic wedding people dream about when they think of having it in their own backyard.  Mixed with the perfect weather, it was both beautiful and comfortably familiar.  Everything happened at her family’s farmhouse in Tabernacle, New Jersey. Kate and the ladies got ready upstairs.  They wore matching robes as they primped. The wedding day garb was almost as comfortable – the bride and every bridesmaid wore cowboy boots. The groom and groomsmen weren’t quite as lucky though they did get to hang out longer and spent some time admiring Dakota’s Triumph motorcycle that he customized himself. ...

Silly Superstitions and Traditions
So I've spent hours this morning poking around on Flickr, particularly through the favorites stream of Lagomorph. I just couldn't help myself. It's really fun to come up with a picture of someone just through the images that they favorite and Lagomorph's was amazingly expressive. For instance, she obviously has a thing for small woodland creatures like birds and deer and especially rabbits. She is crazy about crafts and all of the drool-worthy craftrooms out there that are filled to the brim with baskets, drawers, mason jars, tubs, spools, etc. Likewise, she's totally into the shabby chic style with Victorian details like lace, cameos, a ...
