Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Radisson Warwick Hotel | Candace + Scott
Wedding
It was a drizzly morning on Candace and Scott’s wedding day. Honestly, this didn’t seem to bother them at all. This was just as I expected after I saw how laid back they were at the engagement session in Fairmount Park this past spring. They held the ceremony and reception at the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel right around the corner from Philly’s Rittenhouse Square.
Scott’s wedding gift to her were these gorgeous diamond and pearl earrings.
Candace just blows me away. She’s absolutely stunning (she says she’ll get back to working out after all of this wedding stuff is over). As amazing as she looks in a wedding gown, she would have been just as happy, if not more, in sweats. Her wedding day shoes included Manolos, Badgley Mishkas, and silver sparkly TOMS. She was really psyched for the TOMS.
Be braved the outdoors and did the formals in Rittenhouse Square where we had great diffused light from the overcast skies.
We gathered inside for the intimate signing of the ketubah and the bedeken.
The chuppah and the ballroom looked fantastic and the Jewish wedding ceremony went off without a hitch.
During cocktail hour, the ballroom was transformed for the reception. Candace and Scott entered to share their first dance, “Realize” by Colbie Caillat sung by a 10 piece band.
Which of course led into a rousing hora…
The wedding toasts gave guests some insight on Candace and Scott’s 9 year relationship (much of it spent long distance) as well as a few tidbits about each including certain yellow bird dance costumes for Candace and maid of honor, Julie.
The reception was all out dancing. Bridesmaids crowded the dance floor for a special “Call Me Maybe” and the place was swinging.
Desserts included a beautiful cake and a candy bar with token toothbrushes (Candace is a dentist).
It was a fantastic day. Candace and Scott, congratulations!
If you just realize what I just realizedThen we’d be perfect for each other and we’ll never find another~ Colbie Caillat, “Realize”
