Granted, it’s cold and miserable out and there was a possibility of snow today but that’s not going to matter. Why? Because it’s opening day. And in this area, baseball is kind of a big deal. Just a little.

This day marks the beginning of a season that brings excitement, anticipation, hope, and happy days spent outdoors. (You hear that, mother nature?!)

I lucked out and was offered a ticket for the Phillies’ opening day game. What kind of Philadelphia resident would I be to pass up an opportunity like that? (the answer: a warm one.) If you’re in the stadium with me, give me a holler!

I try to post the desktop/cover photos on the first of every month. I’d like to say that yesterday’s lapse was an intentional April Fool’s prank but it wasn’t. It was a case of Lindsay reading. You see, when I get into a book I don’t just read it, I consume it. It happened yesterday. Perhaps you’ve heard of this book. It’s called The Hunger Games.I started and couldn’t stop.
