Boston Family Photographer | Tess & Co.

Family

Andy, Asher, and I spent last weekend on a blink of a trip to Boston to spend time with Andy’s relatives for a Passover-ish get together.  We drove on Friday night and arrived just after midnight and left again early Sunday.  It wasn’t nearly enough time but we made the most of it.

Of course I brought my camera to capture pictures of the tiny cousins.  Tess is 9 months old; Asher is 18 months old.  Asher has had plenty of time in front of my lens and I found that I just couldn’t get enough of the super-cheeked, huge blue-eyed creature with the crazy hair.  Little Tess.

I think I witnessed her first experience with maracas.  She was appropriately thrilled.

The weather was fabulous for a spring session for Nora, Tal, and Tess.

You have to love family but you don’t have to like them.

Thankfully, Llama Llama brought them together.  (Bonus!  You’re welcome.)

And, just like that… it was time for us to go back to Philly.

Can’t wait to host you on our turf in June!

In my life before portrait and wedding photography, I was in graduate school for sociology. In undergrad, I didn't know what opportunities there were for sociology majors. I just loved the subject matter and had some incredible professors that I never put much thought into what would happen after graduation. I learned that the main route for sociology majors who are really into sociology is graduate school so you can make more sociologists. This was prefect as I loved being in the classroom and I was pretty good at being a student (graduated magna cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa). My shtick was family and gender roles and social psy ...

Main Line Family Photographer | the 511 Family
The 511 family shares a very special place for me. They are special in all the ways every family is special: the idiosyncrasies that make them this wonderful little unit. Through Becca’s gift as a skilled writer, she has shared her world through her blogs. 511 Ever After is her home blog. She talks about her décor crushes of the day and the little pieces of happiness that she has brought into her home to make it personal. Mommy, Ever After is her blog about family and her kids. It is filled with the joy of little Belle’s magic and moments of pure kismet and hilarious interactions. It also has stories of tears and despair and pain. It is real. ...

sexy pregnant mother maternity boudoir session
Delaware Maternity Photographer | Wilmington Home | Katelin
I photographed this Delaware mama twice recently.  Today I’m sharing her maternity session at her home in Wilmington.  It was a surprise gift for hubby, James, who gushed about how gorgeous she was.  And she absolutely was! She had terrible morning sickness for the first 20 weeks but was otherwise doing great!  I met her at 37 weeks and she looked like this.  So freaking hot it's unfair! Her belly button was completely flat with fingers crossed that it wouldn’t pop to an outie. They waited until the birth to find out about the sex of the baby.  Til then, they called the baby “Little Foot.”  She felt like it was a girl.  Ja ...
