Eat, drink, and be scary!

‘Tis the night – the night
Of the grave’s delight,
And the warlocks are at their play;
Ye think that without
The wild winds shout,
But no, it is they – it is they.

July Desktop Images
Oh how I love these long days. It just feels right that I should wake up to sunshine early in the morning and have a full evening of light. I remember being a little kid and being put to bed at 8pm and thinking, "Seriously?! There's still plenty of play left in this day – just look outside!" So get out there and play. Use all of this light for a picnic, a bike ride, time at the dog park, wandering around Manayunk or South Street, open-air dining, or just plain old cloud watching.Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. Little Fish Boutique
Today I dropped by Little Fish Boutique in West Portal to take some pictures for Tori, the owner of this cute children's boutique. It's an awesome long space with a skylight and a room in the back used for kiddie yoga classes. How neat is that? She has the absolute cutest kid's clothing I've ever seen. It's totally trendy and adorable. Some new additions to the store are her new signage and three happy goldfish.FYI, you'll find Little Fish Boutique at 320 West Portal Ave. San Francisco, Ca. 94122 Hours: Mon-Thurs 10-6 Fri & Sat 10-7 Sun 12-4

Gratitude
I hope you and yours are celebrating and giving thanks with friends, family, and a monstrous feast. I know I am. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.~ Melody Beattie
