Featured Photographer on LetsGetTrashed.com!

Uncategorized

Woohoo! Lindsay Docherty Photography has been featured on one of the hottest new websites for seniors, Let’s get Trashed ! No no, this isn’t about parties while the parents are away. What started with adventurous and fun brides getting down and dirty in their dresses at TrashtheDress.com , has now become a senior sensation with high school senior men and women going out and having fun in their prom formalwear and letting lucky photographers (like me) come along for the ride. It can mean totally trashing it – like cutting it up, rolling around in mud, and splashing in the ocean or just taking it somewhere unexpected and not-so-clean like a grungy run-down building, a grimey city street, or a dusty country farm.

Check it out!

You may recognize her from a month ago – it’s my Senior Ambassador Felicia from the Baker Beach Session . I have gotten so many positive responses from this shoot, it’s unbelievable. Congrats, Felicia!

I cannot wait to do more prom dress trashing! Contact me to set up your senior session and we’ll have a ton of fun. Who knows, maybe your prom dress will be the next one to drown on the Let’s Get Trashed website.

p.s. If you’d like to be my next Senior Ambassador, check out this post and shoot me an email at lmdocherty@gmail.com. It’s lots of fun and will get you a free session plus free photo goodies.

Senior Ambassador Shoot at Chrissy Field
Allow me to introduce my newest Senior Ambassador, Gabby. This petite high school senior comes from Granada High School in Livermore. We had originally planned to shoot at Baker Beach, where I had shot Felicia, but the horrible oil spill made practically every beach inaccessible (besides, people in big yellow HAZMAT suits just don't look good in the background of pictures). We met up and headed over to Fort Point first to make use of the moody, grungy feel of the old military fort. I don't often get to shoot here but I really love it when I do. Fort Point is a four story brick donut of a structure with wonderful archways and hallways and ...
