Meet Jenn, Brad, Jenna, and Emily! They’re a spunky bunch I had the pure pleasure of photographing down at Ocean City, Maryland just the other week.
Jenn and I had been working on arranging this session forever and it finally all came together on one of the last weekends of the summer and the weather was just perfect. A great big “take that!” to the rain that would have ruined what we originally had lined up for the next day.
Jenna and Emily were perfectly sunkissed. I guess that’s what happens when you actually get to live at the beach. How lucky!
Now while you’re sipping your hot cider in 50 degree weather, come to the beach with us and relive our sandy fun!
Jenna, everyone. Everyone, Jenna! Jenna is 8 years old, plays soccer, likes pizza, and wants to be a model when she grows up. Or a waitress. Or maybe something else. There’s a lot to consider when you’re 8; you certainly can’t tie yourself down to a career at this point.
And this is Emily! Emily is 5 years old, she likes ice cream and SpongeBob (especially at the same time) and also likes pizza and soccer.
Together, they’re sisters. Goofing off. Playing house. Splashing in the waves. Making faces. Hamming it up. And having the best time in the world.
Jenn and Brad are also important. They’re good for rides, dinner, and excursions to the boardwalk. Oh, and love and affection and tickles too.
I had a blast with you four! Thanks so much for spending and evening on the beach with me (and for the pizza too!).
Families are like fudge – mostly sweet with a few nuts.
