Heather: Senior Session in Grapevine, TX

Uncategorized

I know that my beautiful cousin Heather has been eagerly awaiting these pictures. After doing the family session with her brother and parents, Heather and I made a stop at this awesome field for a mini senior session.

As you can tell, the light was spectacular and Heather just shone! We got there just at the right time for golden hour.

Heather is currently a junior at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. She’s a great student, a fantastic tennis player, works part time as a hostess, and is even a founder of the SMOSS club (which stands for “Students Making Other Students Smile”).

Check out those bright blue eyes. Wow.

We did a quick change into a cute little dress for a different look.

I am trying to get Heather out to the northeast to check out some of the local colleges. I would love to have her in my neck of the woods.

Heather, thanks again for coming out and playing with me! I hope you had as much fun as I did!

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.

In With the New
So business stationary might not do all that much for you, but I'm totally psyched (did I really just say that?) about my new business cards!I really liked my old ones but it was time for a change. I figured I should probably have a picture on them since I am a photographer after all. These are more wedding-y and I'm really happy with them.So come find me and ask for one of my shiny new cards!Oh, and I also got some new stickers in this week. Little round circles with my signature star and lots of green. It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in p ...

February Desktop Images
I think it's shameful how we treat Necco candy. We're so fickle. February comes along and we're all about the Sweethearts (a.k.a. conversation hearts). There will be 8 billion hearts produced this year. It's one of the most popular Valentine's Day candies. I love em.Just 8 short months later and Necco Wafers are grouped with Bit-o-Honey, raisins, and circus peanuts for "least desirable Halloween trades". Even candy corn gets more respect! Those wafers are the same thing as the hearts, you know. Dust and all. This February when you're gaga over those hard little candies, put a few aside for October (trust me, the taste won't change) ...

Senior Ambassador Shoot at Chrissy Field
Allow me to introduce my newest Senior Ambassador, Gabby. This petite high school senior comes from Granada High School in Livermore. We had originally planned to shoot at Baker Beach, where I had shot Felicia, but the horrible oil spill made practically every beach inaccessible (besides, people in big yellow HAZMAT suits just don't look good in the background of pictures). We met up and headed over to Fort Point first to make use of the moody, grungy feel of the old military fort. I don't often get to shoot here but I really love it when I do. Fort Point is a four story brick donut of a structure with wonderful archways and hallways and ...
