Media, PA Engagement Photographer | Ridley Creek State Park | Dana + Tom

Engagement

Oh boy… where to begin…  Dana is a good friend of Eddie, whose wedding I photographed a few years ago.  He will be officiating for Dana and Tom’s wedding next month.  That’s how I met them.

Dana and Tom met at work.  They were friends and there was always a quick and easy connection but it wasn’t until years later and a few moves and relationships that the stars aligned and they began dating.

They live on Long Island with a geriatric Chihuahua/terrier mix that Dana adopted just a few years ago.  Tudas Priest was supposed to join us but Dana thought reconsidered at the last minute, thinking that it might be too much for the senior pup.

Dana has a stellar design sense but she is super indecisive.  I can’t keep track of how many times we changed the date and location of the engagement session.  That being said, I cannot wait to see what she creates for the wedding!

There is so much more I meant to ask the two but conversation was constant and we wound up talking about every random topic under the sun: asparagus, vaping, nose blowing, cereal, the Great Depression, the sound cats make…

So as much as I would love to tell you more about this totally goofy pair, you’ll just have to make do with their engagement pictures from our time at gorgeous Ridley Creek State Park.

And of course stay tuned for their winter wedding at Pomme next month!

Don’t even pretend to be working right now. It’s the Friday afternoon of a long weekend and everyone is futzing around on Facebook and Pinterest. And besides, you owe it to yourself to check out Jean and Brian’s engagement session. It’s the best possible way to get you ready for a lovely, breezy weekend.I met up with these two almost-weds during their trip back to Philly, where they are planning their wedding for next month. They chose to do their session around the Rittenhouse area, where they lived together before taking off on a crazy cross-country adventure. It seemed right that we start at their old home and stomping grounds. They lo ...

New Hope engagement session with colorful yellow leaves in fall
Bucks County Engagement Photographer | New Hope | Ali + Mike
It is not common that I meet my couple for their engagement session the day before their wedding.  Sometimes that’s just the way it works out, especially when the couple is out in sunny California dealing with moves and opening a coffee shop and planning a wedding. Regardless, I was so happy that they were able to carve out a little time for us to just play before their rehearsal dinner and big wedding festivities.  Since they were getting married and staying at Holly Hedge Estate, it made sense that we do the mini session in New Hope. It was a very chilly day.  Mike would have preferred about another 30 degrees but you could se ...
