Ann and Mike have known each other since high school. He went to The Prep, she went to Merion Mercy but it was always something friendly. They would see each other when friends gathered back in town over Thanksgiving breaks when he was down from NYC.
But then he moved back about 6 years ago and they began seeing more of each other and the relationship changed.
They were among many coupled friends and hung out together as bar buddies. He asked her out to dinner near his house in Conshohocken and brought her to a company holiday party that year and things got real.
They now live in Conshohocken with their gorgeous Siberian Husky, Zoe. Ann has always been a city girl and this move to the Philly suburbs feels like “the country.” She has only recently gotten over her fear of the basement.
They are both homebodies and spend their time working on the house and attending to Zoe’s endless whims.
They are regulars at the local ice cream shop, Scoops, so it seemed only fitting to grab some cones on their trot around the neighborhood.
They go on one big vacation a year. This year it was Greece. She rags on him for bringing the ring all the way across the world but he eagerly proposed on their first day there at a visit to the Parthenon.
They will be ringing in the New Year in style this December at the National Constitution Center in Philly. I can’t wait to celebrate with them!
