Summer no more. Sure, we may have a few hot days but the leaves are turning from their vibrant greens to blazing reds, oranges, and yellows. It’s definitely fall in the Northeast and everyone knows it. This is my busiest month of the year. With colors like these and temperate weather, the conditions are perfect for weddings.

Go on some evening strolls while you still can. This is the time of year to put all of your senses in overdrive: take in the incredible colors, breathe in that crisp autumn air, stock up on spiced cider, carve pumpkins, hoot and holler at the postseason baseball games, roast marshmallows, jump in a pile of leaves, brainstorm your Halloween costume. Explore!

Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.

“There is something in October sets the gypsy blood astir, We must rise and follow her; When from every hill of flame, She calls and calls each vagabond by name”

Zed Cards
The other week I photographed Andrea, a young aspiring actress about to head out to Los Angeles. We had a fabulous session at Chrissy Field and the weather was perfect. She's just beautiful and I made some zed card mock-ups to help hers stand apart from the rest. FYI, zed cards are the same as comp, or composite, cards. They are used for modeling and acting industry as a resume with pictures and physical stats.

Heather: Senior Session in Merion, PA
Perhaps you remember Heather from a senior session we did last spring in Texas. Well, goodness, she was only a junior then so we had to do another one now that she's a senior. She braved the cold weather of Pennsylvania and visited me. We shot at Merion Park, right down the street from where I grew up. I'm so fond of this place.Just like before, Heather was a natural. Totally beautiful! I can't wait to find out where she'll be going to college next year!Graduation is only a concept. In real life every day you graduate. Graduation is a process that goes on until the last day of your life. If you can grasp that, you'll make a difference. ...
