Oooh, Pretty Packaging

Uncategorized

I’ve changed a few things lately. The first was changing around my website and adding a few different things. I’ve recently changed the way I package and present prints to my clients. They’re now being shipped with all sorts of buttons and ribbons in different shades of green (of course!).And just about everything is finished off with a sticker featuring my signature star.
Here are some awesome tiny buttons that have my logo. I was so psyched about these. I think they’re just the coolest thing.
This is what will be in my print packages from now on (reprints will still be packaged the normal way). The pictures are grouped by size, wrapped up, and tied with ribbon and a pin. There is also a referral packet in each with little referral cards for clients to hand out to others. There’s a reward in it for everyone: a discount for those giving the card, a discount for those getting the card, and the opportunity for me to photograph more people and their pets (or pets and their people, in some cases).
You’d think I’d get tired of green after a while but it hasn’t let up yet. Be on the lookout for one of these packages after your next session!

December Desktop Images
It seems like August was both yesterday and years ago. Are you feeling that way too? So much has happened that I've hardly had a chance to catch my breath and here we are at the end of the year. Insane, no?So here's to December! Scarves and mittens. Hot cider and carols. Festive storefronts and hurried shoppers. The smell of pine, red noses, crackling fires, and air so cold you can see your breath. With that, here are two images that you can only get this time of year. Frost-covered leaves, the true sign that fall is over. Remember Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers from Fantasia? It's something like that.Every month I feature new ...

Imaging USA recap
I got back from beautiful and sunny 70 degree Tampa last week. I was glad to come back home after being away for three weeks though I have to admit that I wanted to get right back on that plane once I saw San Francisco and it's cold, rainy mess. I was in Florida for Imaging USA, one of the industry's biggest conventions. It was an absolute blast (except for the 7am seminars! Bleh!). As promised, I worked on my picture-a-day commitment while I was there.I roomed with Julie of Julie Cheshire Photography and made friends with another photographer, Jennifer Witz, who photographs portraits in the Bellevue, WA area. Being that the convention w ...

In With the New
So business stationary might not do all that much for you, but I'm totally psyched (did I really just say that?) about my new business cards!I really liked my old ones but it was time for a change. I figured I should probably have a picture on them since I am a photographer after all. These are more wedding-y and I'm really happy with them.So come find me and ask for one of my shiny new cards!Oh, and I also got some new stickers in this week. Little round circles with my signature star and lots of green. It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in p ...
