Valentine and Erich met at a New York City dive bar. To be fair, they were both there for a friend’s birthday party. They were introduced as having music in common – Valentine had a radio show in college and Erich is an accomplished musician. They hit it off.
I met with them in Washington Square Park in Manhattan for their engagement session. They feel New York is very much them and couldn’t imagine doing their engagement session anywhere else. They (especially Valentine) love food, do a lot of exploring around the city, trying out restaurants, theater, and wine.

I don’t want to brag or anything but there’s something pretty cool about being chosen as a bride’s wedding photographer before she has even found her groom.
