Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Philadelphia Museum of Art | Stacy + Joe [teaser]

Engagement

Ugh… these two! I just dread going through all of the hundreds of images from Stacy and Joe’s extended engagement session around the Philly Art Museum. The problem is that they’re just too good and it will be close to impossible to narrow them down! I was worried this would happen with Stacy and Joe when I met them. My fears have been realized. Sigh…

Here’s a story of a boy and girl who met in 6th grade at St. Norbert’s. The boy apparently told his friends that he would marry the girl. The boy and girl began dating their senior year of high school. They’ve been together 8 years now and will be getting married this May at that same grade school where they met and where he first proposed to her (more on that later).Andrea and John are delightful. They’re so easy going and so in sync with each other (what a surprise, right?). He calls her Toots (which I love) and she calls him Peanut (which he doesn’t love). Their first date was to see Big Fish and then dinner at Maggianos with a few o ...

Carrie and Matt were my sweet little lovebirds of last year who came to me for their blisteringly hot Philly engagement session around Reading Terminal Market last year before they were off on their destination wedding in California. I so pleased as punch to see them again and find out how hardened they were after their first year of marriage. As it turns out, not at all. I had hoped the newest family member, Pierogie von Schnitzelhund, would be joining us but I believe he was needed for urgent foreign affairs. I feel lucky that we even got to do this session. It was originally scheduled for the Monday of Superstorm Sandy and I had to co ...

You know it's a good match when you're grinning while editing engagement pictures and then you receive an email like this from the couple:Hi Lindsay,I just wanted to say what a great time Adam and I had taking our engagement photos. I don't think he was super excited about it before, but he really enjoyed himself - how many of your clients throw gang signs, and run headlong into Canadian geese? :) He told everyone about your "Dude, your game sucks" line. It may have been cold, windy and cloudy, but it was fun!We can't wait to see the pictures! Thanks again,StephanieThat basically sums up my engagement session with Stephanie and Adam from this ...
