Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Rittenhouse Square | Anne + David
Engagement
I literally met Anne and David 2 days before their wedding for their engagement session. They live in New York but chose Philly because it was where they first met. Dave’s parents were also married in Philly almost 40 years ago. It was great to be able to spend that time with them before the wedding day. I learned that they met while at Jefferson Hospital by having lots of mutual friends. There’s a debate over the actual first date but they’ve been together about 3 years, adventuring all over the world. Dave proposed to Anne at the summit of a mountain in Japan after a 10 mile hike and they have an adorable puppy named Jake.
We got together at Rittenhouse Square in Philly to play around for a while. It was a blustery day but I absolutely adore the obvious warmth between these two.
Her family is known for doing silly jumping pictures whenever they’re together so we had to integrate that into the session.
It was a great time and their wedding at Colonial Dames the next day was fantastic. Definitely stay tuned for that very soon!
Love doesn’t make the world go round, love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
