Engagement

This has been a long time coming, 8 years in fact. (The engagement, not the engagement session, I’m not that booked up!) Lauren, Sam, and I went out a few days ago to take pictures around their fantastic hood in Philly’s Old City. Can’t wait to show you more. Some of you may actually see another picture from them sooner than you think!

Ice cream-loving Katie met and fell in love with Justin, a guy from Tennessee with a southern drawl and the patience to wander around New York City all day before popping the question in front of the huge Christmas tree this past winter (he was almost forced to do it earlier at NBC Studios but that's another story altogether). It was Ashley and John’s first time in Philadelphia.  They have a history of going to baseball games in different stadiums so they had picked a Phillies game for John’s birthday trip. John and I had been planning this for some time.  We had changed the date a bit when other events came up on Ashley’s calendar and we wanted to avoid suspicion.
