Chris Phillips, an area restaurateur, contacted me about getting some headshots for his upcoming press releases and business pages. He has two new places coming out soon, Calexico in South Street West, and another Elevation Burger.

We took advantage of some great weather at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You don’t need much background for headshots but I little color doesn’t hurt.

As a bigtime Mexican food fan, I’m psyched to try out the place that started as a New York food truck and took off like gangbusters, winning Zagat’s Best Mexican Food in New York City.

Take note of this face. He’s likely to bring us far more taste!

I’m working harder than ever now, and I’m putting on my pants the same as I always have. I just get up every day and try to do a little better than the day before, and that is to run a great restaurant with great food, great wine, and great service. That’s my philosophy.

Philadelphia Model Photographer | Wissahickon Park | Ole
A German weight loss company contacted me a few months ago about a photoshoot. After realizing that this wasn’t a scam, I connected with Ole, one of their many success stories. Ole happened to be living in Philadelphia and had lost 30 pounds through the program. Of course I had to ask him about it. He said he had been a bit hungry at times but it was actually pretty easy and not so bad at all.We met at Valley Green Inn in the Wissahickon Park to snap a few pictures to send to Almased (or in English if you'd prefer). If you’re looking to lose a few (or just want to see my pictures up there in a few weeks), check out Almased - ma ...

Exciting thing #2 I have to share with you this week (#1 was the new studio space) is my amazing new Super Duper Studio Kitten, Rebecca! She works with me on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff – packaging, images, albums, marketing, and a whole slew of other very important tasks (like removing staples, teaching me how to wear heels, designing porch displays).I never know what her hair will look like when she comes in but she helps keep things on track and is such a fun officemate. It was her birthday last week so we went out for a little shoot.  She’s a bit alternative and a bit über feminine which made her birthday getup totally perfec ...

Philadelphia Portrait Photographer | Papertini
Lindsay, we don’t want those boring pictures of us looking boring and stiff and standing like this [prom pose]. I want us to look like a bunch of friends just hanging out. Can you do that?Sugar, please! When it comes to Tanti and the gals at Papertini, there is no possible way the pictures could be boring or stiff. If you’ve met her, Tanti is that little ball of energy. She laughs and smiles and I’m about 99% sure she’s made of sunshine. That’s probably why her floral arrangements are so incredible. Seriously. She’s got creativity out the wazoo and is so much fun. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Papertini crew a few times now ...
