Chris Phillips, an area restaurateur, contacted me about getting some headshots for his upcoming press releases and business pages. He has two new places coming out soon, Calexico in South Street West, and another Elevation Burger.

We took advantage of some great weather at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You don’t need much background for headshots but I little color doesn’t hurt.

As a bigtime Mexican food fan, I’m psyched to try out the place that started as a New York food truck and took off like gangbusters, winning Zagat’s Best Mexican Food in New York City.

Take note of this face. He’s likely to bring us far more taste!

I’m working harder than ever now, and I’m putting on my pants the same as I always have. I just get up every day and try to do a little better than the day before, and that is to run a great restaurant with great food, great wine, and great service. That’s my philosophy.

Ashley: Modeling Session around Philadelphia
The other week I got together with Ashley and shot modeling pictures all over Philadelphia. The humble, sweet, and freckled redhead is undeniably gorgeous and says she's mistaken for Lindsay Lohan several times a week.We started off at FDR Park to take some pictures for a commercial gig that required her to be a Minnesota Twins fan.She changed into a fun aqua sundress for some more shots at the boathouse which sits across the lawn from the American Swedish Historical Museum. She was such a trooper the whole day. It was incredibly windy and chilly. Her eyes were watering from the wind and she was covered in goosebumps but you'd never be able ...

Exciting thing #2 I have to share with you this week (#1 was the new studio space) is my amazing new Super Duper Studio Kitten, Rebecca! She works with me on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff – packaging, images, albums, marketing, and a whole slew of other very important tasks (like removing staples, teaching me how to wear heels, designing porch displays).I never know what her hair will look like when she comes in but she helps keep things on track and is such a fun officemate. It was her birthday last week so we went out for a little shoot.  She’s a bit alternative and a bit über feminine which made her birthday getup totally perfec ...

Philadelphia Headshot Photographer | Washington Square | Keren
Sometimes you want a classic headshot set against a white backdrop with traditional studio lighting. If you do want that, there’s a really good chance you’re not coming to me. I’d rather take you outside, get you in gorgeous light, and use reality as your backdrop. That’s exactly what I did the other week when I went to Washington Square for some professional headshots for Dr. Keren Sofer, a clinical psychologist, to use for her psychotherapy practice.During our photo session, we chatted about the overlap of our two worlds. Mine being weddings, hers being people dealing with stress and other issues. I get couples on beautiful days when eve ...
