Philadelphia Maternity Photographer | Kelly

Family

Dearest Artemis, St. Anne, Igbo, Damara, Isis, Chandra, Kichijōten, Hopi, and whoever else I missed… When I get pregnant, can I pleeeeease look as good as Kelly?

That “pregnancy glow” and blissful beauty? Kelly’s got it.

There is a whole lot going on in the Seymour household right now. They just moved into a new house and, as of yesterday, Kelly is one month away from popping. It’s a lot and it’s incredibly exciting.

I met with Kelly the other week for an awesome maternity session and tour of their brand spanking new house. After a snack for two, we got into the pictures!

Kelly’s baby daddy is known for his New Balance sneakers. Pat lives in his New Balance sneakers. It was only fitting that one of the very first gifts to baby Seymour would be his/her very own pair!

Here is the before. Keep checking the blog because you’ll be seeing this picture look a little different in just a few months!

I loved this set of Kelly in Pat’s shirt. And Kelly, great call on the cobalt Anthropologie comforter!

It was a very chilly and blustery day but there was no way we were going to pass up the magnificent Philadelphia views on her roofdeck!

We’re all on the edge of our seats for the beginning of April to see baby Seymour and find out if Pat and Kelly are getting a little girl or a little boy!

Family Portraits in Woodside
I had a great time with the White family yesterday at the lot of their new home in Woodside. They have a great piece of land for a house that will come to fruition within the next two years. They thought it was a great place for family portraits and it was one of the few occasions that their four children were all in one place at the same time. The siblings are spread out from Atherton to LA to Scotland. On their property there's a wooded area with redwoods and you'd never even know that anyone else is around (with the exception of the occasional tennis match sounds). The nature around was beautiful and the sun was coming through at just the ...

Philadelphia Newborn Photographer | Chestnut Hill | Hero
Dearest Hero, you were the best behaved newborn I've ever seen.  I hope you are this fabulous to your delightful parents (and brother, Bonecrusher) for the rest of your life. Hero was so wonderful - she was alert and looking around sweetly when the time called for it. And she snoozed peacefully and let me squish her up when we needed her drowsy.  We shot their newborn session at their home in Chestnut Hill. Hero was a name Preston and Jillian kept coming back to after they first saw it as a character in Much Ado About Nothing years ago.  "Hero" has its origins as a tale in Greek mythology of forbidden love and a Romeo/J ...

newborn baby boy bundled up with a gold crown like a king
Delaware Newborn Photographer | Wilmington Home | Jackson
I want to cover my walls with this little guy.  Jackson came out as 6lbs, 9oz of 100% adorableness.  That’s not an easy feat since it often takes a little bit for babies to sort out all of that squishing from the previous 40 weeks. He certainly made Katelin work for it though.  31 hours of labor and she never felt the effects of her epidural due to a medical condition.  31 hours!!!  And then he had the nerve to come out with the umbilical cord around his neck.  His parents are fashionable so it makes sense that he’d be accessorizing at an early age. Katelin was positive he would be a girl.  James had a hunch he might get a boy. ...
