Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Amada | Tomer + Sarah

Wedding

Tomer and Sarah knew what they were doing. After dating for three years and knowing each other even longer, Sarah and Tomer eloped atop a mountain in Virginia, a 3 mile hike where Tomer had popped the question just two months before. It was just them and their officiant, a very close professor who was ordained just for them. It was important that they have something very intimate from day 1.

But where’s the fun in that if there’s not a group of friends and family to help them celebrate their marriage? Enter their reception party help at the delicious Garces restaurant, Amada, in Old City.

It was a chilly December night when their closest 40-something friends and family gathered together for a night of congratulations, drinking, dining, and mingling.

I met up with them a little bit before the party started for a few nighttime pictures in the area.

Tell me you don’t adore Sarah’s party-length ruffled gown and stunner pumps!

The party inside was filled with the expected revelry!

And because I couldn’t help but snatch the shoes when I saw Sarah kick them off later in the night.

I am so, so happy for these two. They both have hearts of gold. Sarah is finishing up school to be a vet and Tomer just earned his doctorate. They live with four big, happy puppies in Virginia.

Simone + Joel: Wedding at Philadelphia’s Glen Foerd Mansion
Simone a Joel are perfect for each other. They are completely complimentary to each other. As Simone explains it, "He's a tree and I'm a tumble weed."We began at Jericho Mountain Orchids in Bucks County, where the couple met for dance lessons leading up to the wedding. It's a glorious place with fantastic grounds and obviously very lovely owners to let Simone and Joel come by before the wedding day. It's really wonderful to get these wedding pictures finished before the ceremony. It allows us so much freedom and keeps the happy couple from neglecting their guests during cocktail hour. They chose the lovely Glen Foerd Mansion in Philadelph ...

You couldn’t have asked for a much more beautiful day than what we had for Erin and Scott’s wedding. I completely lucked out with these two for both their spectacular Art Museum engagement session and then their New Jersey wedding. My time began with Erin and the ladies at her parents’ house in Vorhees. You can tell that her family is close. Their interactions just exuded love. We allotted plenty of time for her beautiful lace-up Maggie Sottero gown.I really love it when I get to photograph brides and grooms in their homes where they grew up. It makes the family connection that much stronger. Scott was getting ready with the guys at his ...
