If Snow White were real, I’m fairly certain she would look like Becca. Becca was absolutely gorgeous and her wedding to Nick was filled with personal touches, unseasonably warm weather (a few days before Frankenstorm, no less), and a group that knew how to rock it out like it was their job.
I arrived at the Philadelphia DoubleTree Hotel to spend time with Becca and the ladies before the ceremony.
Dreamy, fluffy, bowed Badgley Mischkas? Yes, please!
Nick wrote a note for Becca to read before the ceremony. It included his famous doodles of them. Completely adorable!
Please note Becca’s “something blue” toenails and pearls borrowed from her new mother in law (who had an emergency appendectomy a few days before the wedding and still looked amazing).
This little one is going to be big trouble if he isn’t already. See that impish grin and golden curls. Oh, dear.
The team loaded into the limo and were off to St. John the Evangelist Church. It was such a gorgeous Catholic church and the sermon was about gifts – giving the gift of life and love to each other, gifts that come from nowhere else but from the hearts of two people who have fallen in love.
The bridal party headed out to the Azalea Garden and the Philadelphia Art Museum after the church. The colors were just popping off of the trees. It was beautiful.
Before heading back into the DoubleTree for cocktail hour, we had to take the classic Broad Street shot. I don’t care how many times I see this, it’s still stunning. A beautiful woman in a white dress, her handsome groom, and one of Philly’s most iconic buildings.
Escort cards were attached to bottles of 100% pure Vermont maple syrup made by Rebecca’s family for five generations.
Becca and Nick danced their first dance to “Amazed” by Lonestar. As I learned in their Manayunk engagement session, Nick makes the best faces.
The reception was a great time. I think just about everyone was on the dancefloor.
What a beautiful wedding! Congratulations, Becca and Nick!
I don’t know how you do what you do
I’m so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
