Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | St. Augustine + Courtyard Marriott | Jamie + John
Wedding
It was a chilly but sunny November Philly day when Jamie and John tied the knot. The church, colors, and wedding guests (wedding party especially) were nothing short of fabulous! I had a hunch this was going to be a fun time when I met with Jamie and John for their engagement session at Villanova University (where they met at school) and learned of the pair’s love of movies.
John and his men were armed with Ghostbusters gear pre-ceremony.
I love this shot of Jamie’s mom seeing her all done up!
John and the guys channeling a little Reservoir Dogs…
Their Catholic ceremony was held at the gorgeous St. Augustine Catholic Church.
This church was beautifully ornate with a drool-worthy balcony that allowed for incredible images of the ceremony below.
The wedding pictures were especially important to Jamie and John (bless them!) and they allowed for plenty of time and opportunities for great images. First stop: Race Street Pier.
Then the bridal party rallied for pictures at Franklin Square with wonderful fall colors of the carousel in the background.
Our last stop before the reception was on the classically Philadelphia scene of City Hall from Broad Street. I swear this view is spectacular in any season at any time of day in any weather.
We finally ended at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown for Jamie and John’s reception.
As homage to Jamie’s Main heritage, favors were maple syrup in beautiful engraved bottles.
They shared their first dance to “Longing to Belong” by Eddie Vedder.
And then the ruckus started. Dance moves like you wouldn’t believe and so, so, so much laughter!
Jamie and John, I can’t thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of such a wonderful day. So now dish details (and pics!) of your Australian honeymoon!
I’m falling harder then
I’ve ever fell before
Im falling fast while hoping
I’ll land in your arms
Cause all my time is spent here
Longing to belong to you
