Signe + Trevor: Steampunk Love Shoot in New Jersey

Engagement

Love Shoot: just like an engagement session but for any couple at any phase of their relationship.  Maybe you want to get all dressed up in your wedding digs and do a trash the dress/rock the frock shoot since quality picture time for you two was short on your wedding day and that incredible gown deserves more than a day. Or perhaps you’re digging the idea of going out and having fun as an anniversary gift to each other. Or maybe you’re like this married couple and you’re simply awesome and have some incredible costumes you want to play with. Whatever the case may be, you deserve fantastic pictures of you two as a couple before, during, and after the wedding.

I know, I know… You’ve been dying to see these steampunk pics ever since I taunted you with one a few weeks ago. Well here you go! I give you Signe and Trevor’s steampunk Love Shoot! (Oh, in case you’re scratching your head about all this “steampunk” talk, check this out.)

Yeah, they’re total badasses.

The two of them are just incredible together. Trevor is geeky in the best possible way. Signe has a heart of gold. When they’re in each other’s company they bring out the best in one another. They’ve been across the country and the world together – meeting at college in Washington and teaching English in Japan for several years.

He makes her laugh and it’s magical.

As if they’re not cool enough, Signe and Trevor go out swing dancing in their spare time. They showed me a few of their moves.

Signe and Trevor, thank you so much for spending a lovely afternoon with me. I had a blast!

He felt now that he was not simply close to her, but that he did not know where he ended and she began.

Lisa + Mike’s Engagement Session around Rittenhouse Square
Lisa and Mike spent Labor Day weekend buying appliances for their new place and wandering around Rittenhouse Square for their engagement session with me. Their e-session is particularly special because it chronicles meaningful places from early in their courtship. We started by this dingy side street near the train tracks around the corner from their office. I think it's pretty beautiful despite the rust and litter. Then we headed on to where they met – Independence Blue Cross. They worked in different departments but one particular job made their paths cross…We scoped out La Colombe, the first place they had coffee together. It must be great ...

Collette + Chris engagement session around the Philadelphia Art Museum
Collette’s favorite color is green so you already know she’s good people. Chris smiles when he looks at Collette. They met back in 2005 while he was a network guy and she worked at the systems desk. He would bring Doritos to work, not because he particularly liked Doritos, but because Collette would come around and eat them. Their wedding colors will be based around 3 leaves she picked up during one of their first outings together. They are quirky and awesome and I love them.We met on a chilly and windy day in February to wander around the Philadelphia Art Museum area for their e-session. Can I tell you how much I love what they wore? ...
