Signe + Trevor: Steampunk Love Shoot in New Jersey

Engagement

Love Shoot: just like an engagement session but for any couple at any phase of their relationship.  Maybe you want to get all dressed up in your wedding digs and do a trash the dress/rock the frock shoot since quality picture time for you two was short on your wedding day and that incredible gown deserves more than a day. Or perhaps you’re digging the idea of going out and having fun as an anniversary gift to each other. Or maybe you’re like this married couple and you’re simply awesome and have some incredible costumes you want to play with. Whatever the case may be, you deserve fantastic pictures of you two as a couple before, during, and after the wedding.

I know, I know… You’ve been dying to see these steampunk pics ever since I taunted you with one a few weeks ago. Well here you go! I give you Signe and Trevor’s steampunk Love Shoot! (Oh, in case you’re scratching your head about all this “steampunk” talk, check this out.)

Yeah, they’re total badasses.

The two of them are just incredible together. Trevor is geeky in the best possible way. Signe has a heart of gold. When they’re in each other’s company they bring out the best in one another. They’ve been across the country and the world together – meeting at college in Washington and teaching English in Japan for several years.

He makes her laugh and it’s magical.

As if they’re not cool enough, Signe and Trevor go out swing dancing in their spare time. They showed me a few of their moves.

Signe and Trevor, thank you so much for spending a lovely afternoon with me. I had a blast!

He felt now that he was not simply close to her, but that he did not know where he ended and she began.

Anu and Joe got an eye-ful as we strolled all around Philadelphia the other day. You may want to avert your eyes but there will be more soon!Update: it looks like LOLadelphia was just as amused by our photobombed session.

Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Queen Village |Britt + Paul
I was the fifth wheel for a sunny afternoon engagement session with Britt, Paul, George, and Frank the other week in Queen Village.  Thankfully, they didn’t seem to mind my company. They spend a lot of time enjoying their neighborhood – the walks, restaurants, and people they’ve all come to know and love.  Somehow they’ll uproot just a few days after their wedding at the College of Physicians (this weekend!) and move for Britt’s internship in Michigan. Britt and Paul met five years ago on what I consider to be the best possible place to find a partner – the internets!  Britt was foolishly apprehensive of this younger gentleman b ...
