Every month I feature a new image for download for you to use as your desktop background. Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.To me, November means cold and crisp. In San Francisco it can mean cold and foggy. Very cold and very foggy. These pictures were taken on the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge on a frigid day when the fog was so thick, you could hardly see five feet in front of you. Every now and then my partner and I decide to celebrate a certain food for the month. We usually forget about it but when we remember, it's a lot of fun. In an effort to expand our palettes, we try to make different dishes with the food and experiment with different types. In the past we've had a months devoted to mangoes, hummus, grapefruit, sweet potatoes, spinach, cantaloupe, watermelon, and kiwi.Here are some pictures from previous months.This month is pear month.
