Laura and Ed’s wedding day couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The weather was perfect and it was just gorgeous at the William Penn Inn out in Montgomery County. The ladies in guava gathered in one of the suites as Laura got ready. Her Maggie Sottero wedding gown was a vision! It was about the third dress she tried on. I can totally understand why she’d stop looking after this! I loved the millions of billowing layers of tulle.

The bracelet she wore was borrowed from her mother and she had her new initials monogramed in blue onto an old lace handkerchief.

We grabbed a few of Ed’s formals before the ceremony as the guests started to arrive.

The ceremony site is really beautiful. An iron gazebo is surrounded by lush trees, bushes, and a lawn. The entire ceremony felt so private and secluded. I loved the vibrant pinks and oranges against all of that green. It was so deliciously summery.

I’m still amazed that 9 bridesmaids independently chose 9 different dresses for the wedding.

I loved that the group recessed to the Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be”.

Immediately after the ceremony, Laura and Ed stole away for a few minutes.

Then I got them for a few more to bask in some of the most perfect light. If I could create light, this would be it! There were guests to greet and a mac & cheese bar to be had so we didn’t stay long.

After the bridal party introductions, Laura and Ed danced their first dance to “Let My Love Open the Door”.

I’m pretty sure that everyone was out on the dance floor at some point that night.

Laura and Ed dated for a day when they were 13 years old. I’m so glad that they reconnected so many years later and that I got to be a part of this fantastic day. Congratulations, you two!
