It feels like that time of year when changes are about to happen, but not quite yet. It’s like the calm before the storm. Summer vacation is ending and school is starting soon. We’re going to begin seeing those vibrant color changes in nature. Our wardrobe is going to go through that teenage state of dealing with hot days and cool nights after dusk. But right now we can still bask in calmness, in serenity. So I’ve picked some images that make me think “serenity”.

Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.

*Please note these images are made available for personal use only.

“Boredom is the feeling that everything is a waste of time; serenity, that nothing is.”

The Photographer’s Curse
On the eve of Halloween, I find it fitting that my focus be on some truly scary pictures. You see, I am a photographer. I take pictures of people and do what I can to make them look their best. I've had the great fortune to photograph very attractive people so my job has been pretty easy. But every now and I have a tough customer. No matter what I do, this client just never looks right. Try as I might, I just don't like em. Maybe I just need a new face. Maybe I just nee ...
