It feels like that time of year when changes are about to happen, but not quite yet. It’s like the calm before the storm. Summer vacation is ending and school is starting soon. We’re going to begin seeing those vibrant color changes in nature. Our wardrobe is going to go through that teenage state of dealing with hot days and cool nights after dusk. But right now we can still bask in calmness, in serenity. So I’ve picked some images that make me think “serenity”.

Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.

I wondered if I'd made the right decision in moving from San Francisco. I had forgotten how cold this area could get. I missed my friends on the west coast. But I also photographed some beautiful weddings. I started meeting other wed ...

Portraits in Nob Hill
I had sooo much fun with Will on this photoshoot. It was a last minute call and I was available to go out that evening. We wandered around Nob Hill and found an awesome old couch on the side of the road that we just couldn't pass up. Will won't admit it, but he's a really good model and takes great pictures. Check them out!
