[BowTies and Buttercream] features Brianne and Scott’s Pen Ryn Mansion Wedding

Press Wedding

Brianne and Scott are on roll. Just yesterday they were up on the Ontario-based BowTies and Buttercream blog! It is an inspiring collection of Canadian weddings that highlights one international wedding a month. I’m pleased as pie that they chose this beautiful Pen Ryn Mansion wedding in Bensalem, PA for their May “International Love” feature! Check it out!

Oh, and congratulations, you two! Yesterday Bree and Scott found out that they are having a baby girl this fall!

Wilmington Wedding Photographer | Hotel DuPont | Amanda + Matt
I have seen exactly two weddings where the bride has worn her mother’s wedding gown.  Amanda and Matt’s wedding was one such wedding.  There was so much going on their wet November day but their spirits were incredible and the day was spun with gold. Amanda and her bridesmaids got ready at Amanda’s parents’ house in Woodbury, NJ.  Amanda wore her petite mother’s 1982 wedding dress with only some slight alterations  - removal of the sleeves, a conversion of taffeta to satin, and the addition of tens of thousands or Swarovski crystals all over the gorgeous gown.  Excess lace was used as a wrap around Amanda's bouquet. As always, the Morris House Hotel was delightful, it’s antique flag flying in the breeze. The ladies gathered with Vanessa in the bridal suite for hair and makeup and to keep cool.  Vanessa had seen a designer online that she simply had to see in person.  A trip to DC led her to several samples of Julie Vino.  She was looking for something with sleeves and fell for the one that she had originally pinned.  It was a fabulous silk chi ...

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Glen Foerd Mansion | Stephanie + Nick
Remember the oddity that was the snowstorm in late October? Yeah, so do Stephanie and Nick who had their wedding that day! Stephanie, a self-proclaimed type A, was a little concerned about the wintry mix that had shown up way too early in the year. Despite the wonky weather, the day went off beautifully! This is the same couple that wasn’t looking for love that I was telling you about a few months ago from their engagement session around Chestnut Hill.I met with Stephanie at the Sheraton not far from the wedding venue. She was there with her mother and sister watching the flakes through the window. She changed into her gorgeous Vera Wan ...
