Delaware County Couples Photographer | Linvilla Orchards | Julie + Chuck

Engagement

What was originally going to be a Trash the Dress session evolved into a fallsy love session a little over a year after Julie and Chuck’s wedding. The thing is, you just can’t expect these two to want something ordinary. After all, we had already done beach, boardwalk, kites, water, and carousels for their engagement session and then the gorgeous Bear Creek Mountain Ski Resort for their wedding. In that vein, if you’re going to do fall, you do it all the way.

We met up at Linvilla Orchards in Media, PA for autumn colors, apples, pumpkins, farm animals, and as much trouble as we could find.

Julie realllly likes goats. Chuck likes Julie. Therefore, Chuck tolerates goats.

After the orchard and the petting zoo area (far more cages than I had remembered), we wandered around the grounds for a little more scenery and privacy.

The gold mine might have been the hay maze. We helped ourselves.

With the crazy colors out there, I just can’t help myself from taking this shot.

It is a blast every time I see Julie and Chuck. We always get something special. I pretty much have the best couples ever!

Philadelphia Proposal Photographer | Philadelphia Art Museum | Gabby + Ethan
For some reason, I was super anxious leading up to Ethan’s plan to propose to Gabby behind the Art Museum.  It was likely because start time was pushed back a little bit so I had more time to get all of the butterflies.  They arrived as expected behind the Art Museum and came walking towards our location. Ethan and I had planned this for a few weeks.  Ethan thought Kelly Drive would be perfect since Gabby loves to run and imagined she’d be spending a lot of time along the gorgeous path of their new city.  Too many wet and frozen days delayed the cherry blossoms we were hoping to see along the Schuylkill River so we switched plans to on ...

Chester County Engagement Photographer | Longwood Gardens | Jackie + Chang
I was over the moon when I got booked to shoot Jackie and Chang’s wedding next November. You see, I met these two in 2011 at Jackie’s sister’s, Katie’s wedding and have been kept up to date on the relationship ever since. This is an incredible family and I have no doubt the wedding will be a blast.Jackie and Chang live in Florida and I was able to snag them both on one of the only free days they had up here for their engagement session at Longwood Gardens. The day looked dismal but Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square never disappoints. The leaves around us were practically screaming with color.Jackie and Chang met in college. That’s the s ...

Media, PA Engagement Photographer | Ridley Creek State Park | Dana + Tom
Oh boy… where to begin…  Dana is a good friend of Eddie, whose wedding I photographed a few years ago.  He will be officiating for Dana and Tom’s wedding next month.  That’s how I met them. Dana and Tom met at work.  They were friends and there was always a quick and easy connection but it wasn’t until years later and a few moves and relationships that the stars aligned and they began dating. They live on Long Island with a geriatric Chihuahua/terrier mix that Dana adopted just a few years ago.  Tudas Priest was supposed to join us but Dana thought reconsidered at the last minute, thinking that it might be too much for the seni ...
