It is always pretty great spending a few hours with a newborn.  The parents are seeing stars, both from the overwhelming “whoa” of now having this little creature that is all theirs and the mind-numbing lack of sleep. Jeff and Vanessa brought me little Jack.  At just 8 days old, he was completely attentive to his mommy.  He even cracked a smile or two for us. With time, we got ourselves a sweet, sleepy baby who just curled up for us. His teeny baby details were beyond adorable. Tell me this swirl of hair isn’t swoon-worthy. Scotland Visit
I really hate leaving home base for too long. I get back and feel like the sky is falling. I think the dust is finally settling and I can get back into the groove again. I wanted to share some of my pictures from my trip to Scotland a few weeks ago. My grandmother is not doing very well so it was a last minute thing to get across the pond. If I ever see another airport again, it will be too soon. Part of my adventure was borderline comical. I flew from San Francisco to Los Angeles for a nine hour layover.
