Wow, I can’t believe that I’ve already been here for 5 months. I still feel like I’m getting used to everything. The weather is still nutty but oh how I love Springtime in Pennsylvania. The past few weeks everything has just opened up. I’ve been driving all over the Main Line for photo sessions and have seen all this lushness everywhere. Happiness is having the doors and windows open and a light breeze blowing through the house. Add my new flowers (pansies, daffodils) right out my window and I’m one happy gal!

Enjoy!

Your weddings. But then I did the calculation the other week and realized, “Holy s#!t! 94 days?! That’s, like, soon. That’s real. Things are about to get legit!”And so there might have been some panicking in the way Type-As do: lists!Caterer, in-season flowers, gown alterations, music, boudoir session, honeymoon, Crest White Strips, favor ...

A peek inside: our whimsical gender neutral nursery
In January 2015 when I first found out I was pregnant, I was overwhelmed.  We had just started trying and became pregnant right away.  To be honest, I wasn’t ready.  I needed more time and everything I read said to expect many months.  I was looking forward to the charting and planning.  But there it was: that extra line. To avoid thinking about the massive impending change to our lives, I spent the next 38 weeks focusing my attention to designing the nursery.  I had Pinterest boards galore and wandered in and out of my husband’s then-office almost daily to get measurements of walls and windows.  I had scraps of paper with sketches, di ...
