New Jersey Shore Wedding Photographer | Abbie Holmes Estate | Courtney + Sean
Wedding
I have never seen so many high fives at a wedding. Nor so much rocking out during the reception. Courtney and Sean’s wedding was beautiful and playful and fun. The whole day seemed to fit their laid back, happy personalities and it pulled in bits and pieces of their relationship to really make it theirs. I caught a glimpse of it during their engagement session and this was even better.
They had a great day for it in Clermont, NJ at Abbie Holmes Estate.
Courtney, a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, designed and created the gorgeous invitations herself. The heart is a plantable seed packet.
They had such unique rings.
It was beautiful and sunny for the entire day. The ceremony was wonderful. Courtney’s mother walked her down the aisle and her sister officiated, including a plant watering to pay homage to their great love of nature and the beginning of something so very special.
We had some great daylight to play around for the formals and pictures of Courtney and Sean.
And because they’re amazing… Blue Steel.
The reception room looked fantastic. Burlap, blue, and small containers of succulents were everywhere. It all looked so good together.
The beginning of the day was just a delicious appetizer to the reception.
The couple danced (and co-sang) their first dance to “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson. I LOVE this song!
Courtney and her mom shared a parent dance to Dylan’s “Forever Young”.
After the speeches, it was go time. I have never seen such a shindig. This group danced and partied like it was their job!
What a day! And what a night! Congratulations, Courtney and Sean!
I’d buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair
Sew on patches to all you tear
‘Cause I love you more than I could ever promise
And you take me the way I am
You take me the way I am, you take me the way I am
