[the value of] the Oh, snap! Studio

Business

I have been waiting to unveil this for sooooo long!

Lindsay Docherty Photography presents (drumroll, please)…

Oh Snap Studio photobooth
It’s like a photobooth but better. The Oh, snap! Studio is an open air, self-contained, mini studio that allows guests to have an absolute blast at your wedding without taking (too) much of a break from the dancefloor. This is not some cobbled together backdrop and tripping-hazard tripod that needs a babysitter nor a tiny box that fits 2 munchkins, at best. The Oh, snap! Studio is a sleek and professional setup that can fit a whole gaggle of people and works at just the press of a button. Let your group go free form or bring your own funky props for playtime. The equipment is a real deal flash and a digital SLR and the resulting images are high resolution so you can use them for huge prints and gifts. The best part is that the pictures are posted on Facebook within 48 hours of the event so everyone can see and tag to their heart’s delight and you get a disk of all of the pictures too. Pretty sweet, huh?

Here is just a handful of the pictures that came out of some recent weddings while the Oh, snap! Studio was still on the down low.

Yeah, it’s pretty freaking great. Remember the weak photobooth at your cousin’s wedding? Get ready to make her jealous.

So grab grandma, stick her in a sombrero, and push the button!

Fun is good.

The new Lindsay Docherty Photography studio is open for business!
There are some very, very fun new things going on at Lindsay Docherty Photography. For one, the new studio in West Mt. Airy is in place! We’re talking consultation, boudoir/newborn shooting space, office, etc. I need to curate some pieces for the walls now that the basic structure is in place. I absolutely love it! I sit on the big comfy sofa and just breathe it in. It’s all mine and it’s amazing. I took a few snapshots on that foggy morning we had the other day. Technically the leaves should be raked, but I love the colors and textures and messiness of them. These beautiful, original doors were in the basement of the house for who knows ...

Hillary Clinton | The Liberty Medal Awards
My roster of subjects continues to grow, making me one very lucky photographer.  Last week I got to photograph Hillary Clinton at the Liberty Medal Awards at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The Liberty Medal is awarded annually “to men and women of courage and conviction who strive to secure the blessings of liberty to people around the globe. The medal was first administered by the National Constitution Center in 2006, when Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton were honored for their bipartisan humanitarian efforts on behalf of the victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia and the hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. O ...
