I can hardly believe I survived May. So many weddings, engagement sessions and a move as well! It was wonderful. I now welcome June with open arms and excitement for summer weddings, barbecues, beach trips, honeysuckle, fireflies, blissful evening strolls, late sunsets, hammocks, and lemonade. Lots and lots of lemonade.

Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.

If the grocery store tells me daffodils and hyacinths are right around the corner, it must be true! Little round circles with my signature star and lots of green. It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in p ...

Personal Session in Chicago
I spent this past week in Chicago where I met with the lovely Shelley to take some pictures for her. She's a gorgeous redhead with definite model looks to her. We got some great shots in Lincoln Park by the zoo and conservatory. She's tall and thin and has such a friendly and natural air to her. She's very easy going. It took a few tries to get a serious face out of her (she just couldn't stop smiling) but she photographed well. And she had an easy smile that I'm sure wows those Chicago men. Thanks, Shelley; I had a great time!
