Jeanette and Kevin were married on a perfect day. They could not have asked for lovelier weather for their outdoor Riverdale Manor wedding in Lancaster.
Jeanette and the ladies gathered at the farmhouse in their matching robes, sipping champagne, while waiting for the action to begin.
Jeanette’s gown was an incredible lace vision in a subtle blush tone. It was strapless and had some added oomph from the petticoat under it. She found it at the third shop she visited and she wore it as if it was meant to be.
The super tall rhinestone heels and thin blue line patch (Kevin is a police officer) were a great touch too.
The gentlemen had assembled and had some time for pictures on the verdant grounds. Ten groomsmen in their three piece suits.
Plus a ring bearer.
We hid them away so that the ladies could have their time in front of the camera too. Ten bridesmaids in their eggplant purple gowns and pearls.
They held their outdoor ceremony by the river. Their arch was full of the same fall flowers – sunflowers, roses, zinnias, lisianthus, dahlias, and eucalyptus – that the bridesmaids carried in their bouquets. Father Mike had presided over Kevin’s parents’ wedding and had baptized each of the kids.
A sea of bubbles marked their exit back down the aisle.
We took advantage of the greenery and the wonderful weather for some time alone with this model-worthy couple.
The reception was so much fun. Jeanette and Kevin wowed the crowd with a perfectly executed choreographed first dance to “Give it All We Got Tonight” by George Strait.
The toasts were great and it was the best garter show I’ve ever seen. Kevin pulled out his cop hat, glasses, and handcuffs and gave Jeanette a sexy shimmy before the pat-down/garter removal.
They cut their beautifully understated naked cake (with blackberries and blueberries) and guests noshed on pumpkin spiced cupcakes.
The Oh, Snap! Photo Studio caught even more fun.
I was so happy to celebrate with this family again years after Brianne’s (Kevin’s sister) wedding to Scott back in 2010.
We could have photographed this hot couple all night long!
Alas, they had much dancing and laughing to do with their guests (bah humbug) and we eventually had to head back to Philly. It was a wonderful wedding and I was thrilled to be a part of this family’s history once more.
Baby fall into my kiss
It should just happen like this
Trust it so much that there’s no one else but us and
This moment that says it’s so right
‘Cause that’s all we have in this life
Drink up this love, baby, give it all we got tonight
