Last Bridal Show of the Year
If you didn't catch us at the Chestnut Club or Sheraton bridal shows, you missed a good time. I literally met with hundreds of brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mothers, and a few fathers. These weddings ranged from next month to dates far into 2013.Weddings shows are just a whirlwind and it usually takes me a day or so to come down from all that wedding frenzy.Here are a few pictures from the Sheraton show…Before the LDP "living room" booth. Stacy + Mike: A Vintage Wedding in Historic Philadelphia
Just about 4 years after they first met, Stacy and Mike tied the knot this past May at the historic Stotesbury Mansion (also known as The Philopatrian Literary Institute or "The Philo"). You may remember them from their engagement session I posted earlier this year. Wedding coordinator, Amanda, of AM Events and Clive from Stotesbury made sure everything went off without a hitch.Stacy's bridesmaid, Heather, played a double role as make-up artist.Stacy wore a birdcage veil, some smoking gold heels, and a gorgeous v-neck sheath dress from J. Bucks County Wedding Photographer | Aldie Mansion | Kat + Dan
Kat and Dan married on a crisp, sunny day in December at one of my favorite venues in the area, Aldie Mansion.
The space was perfect for Kat who looked like she stepped
out of a glamorous 1920s novel. Her soft
blonde hair fell along her face with an antique hair clasp. Her gown (the 49th one she tried
on!) was an incredible lace and beaded number that had been discontinued but
she sourced and brought in. The
fluttering sleeves and delicate lace along the bottom were additions and I can’t
imagine the dress without them.
Leave it to Kat to accessorize with deep red, velvet pumps.
