Philadelphia baby photographer | 6 months | Charlotte

Family

Dear Mom, skip this post. It will make you all sorts of baby crazy. You’ll get your own grandkids eventually, just not yet.

With that out of the way, prepare your ovaries. I photographed adorable 6 month old baby Charlotte the other week at her Graduate Hospital home with her diaper-changers, Pat and Kelly.

While Kelly put her finishing touches together, Pat and Charlotte gathered for early indoctrination of Penn State Football.

That adorable little navy shirt says “I watch Penn State Football with My Daddy”.

Could this whole family be any cuter?

Please take note of the amazing Anthropologie bedspread. Kelly is a bit of an Anthro addict. And Kate Spade. And perhaps a few other lovely brands. The tutu, on the other hand, is a Kelly original.

Charlotte is such a sweet little thing. It will be so much fun to watch her grow up into a (well-dressed) little lady!

Family Session back in Raliegh, NC
Have I got a treat for you!I went back to Raleigh, North Carolina for a part of the holidays and met up with some of my absolute favorite clients, Katie and Erik. This time there was one more addition to the group: Ava! Last time I saw Ava, she looked like this:We went to Pullen Park for family portraits and it was the first time I actually got to meet her. I can't believe she'll be a year old in March. We took some pictures of everyone and it became pretty clear that she loves her mommy but she's definitely daddy's little girl. Katie is with her all day and Ava gets so excited to see her daddy when he comes home from work. Of course she ...

Philadelphia Baby Photographer | Graduate Hospital | Mari
I met Little Miss Mari Leona for her newborn shoot when she was 7 weeks old.  Yes, that’s a little later than usual but Sivan and Ashley had gotten them done with someone else and knew they needed a second lens on this baby stat.  Enter Lindsay!  #humblebrag Her big eyes were already brown and gorgeous.  She was super active and kicking around. She has been a great baby.  She sleeps well and Sivan has figured out the optimal gas release actions as Mari’s designated tooter. I love the name Mari for its twist on the names that belonged to both of their grandmothers: Mary and Maria.  It also works as a name for Ashley’s F ...

In my life before portrait and wedding photography, I was in graduate school for sociology. In undergrad, I didn't know what opportunities there were for sociology majors. I just loved the subject matter and had some incredible professors that I never put much thought into what would happen after graduation. I learned that the main route for sociology majors who are really into sociology is graduate school so you can make more sociologists. This was prefect as I loved being in the classroom and I was pretty good at being a student (graduated magna cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa). My shtick was family and gender roles and social psy ...
