Philadelphia Couples Photographer | Art Museum of Philadelphia | Carrie + Matt
Engagement
Carrie and Matt were my sweet little lovebirds of last year who came to me for their blisteringly hot Philly engagement session around Reading Terminal Market last year before they were off on their destination wedding in California. I so pleased as punch to see them again and find out how hardened they were after their first year of marriage. As it turns out, not at all. I had hoped the newest family member, Pierogie von Schnitzelhund, would be joining us but I believe he was needed for urgent foreign affairs. I feel lucky that we even got to do this session. It was originally scheduled for the Monday of Superstorm Sandy and I had to convince Carrie that this was probably not the best time to go out for pictures.
We checked out the Art Museum after the storm hit and were relieved to still see so much color. The day was really blustery and cold but we did it and it was awesome.
Please note Carrie’s beautiful shmancy shoes. They were her wedding shoes and she deserved another chance to wear them. The thing is, it was way too cold out that day for her piggies to stay in those pumps.
This is one of my favorite views of the city.
This one isn’t so bad either.
These two make the best faces ever. Ever.
Carrie and Matt, happy anniversary! I can’t wait to see what kind of fun we can have next time. Blizzard perhaps?
I know that nothin’,

I have for you
