Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Old City | Sarah + Ryan

Engagement

These two beautiful people graced me for an evening of tromping all overt Old City the other day.  They’re new in town, having moved from Florida in May.

Ryan’s only request was water so we met at Race Street Pier to begin the pictures.  They were naturals from the first second.

The two met at a country bar in Orlando two years ago.  Ryan walked in looking preppy as can be with rolled red pants, a linen shirt, and boat shoes.  Sarah just had to send a picture of this guy to her friends via Snapchat.  He caught her doing it and the rest is history!

They were at DisneyWorld in January.  He managed a romantic private nighttime boatride and explained it as a perk from a family member who worked there.  Once the fireworks started going off, he popped the question.

She always knew that she wanted to get married at Disney so they’ll be tying the knot there next spring.

For now, they’re living the life in a new home near Allentown with their two pooches while Ryan commutes to Manhattan for work.

Thank you both so much for wandering around this fair city and looking so amazing in the process (hellooooooo, Louboutins!).

Michelle + Mike: Engagement Session in Medford Lakes, NJ
Michelle and Mike met in college. He was her cousin's roommate and they spent a lot of time together while her friends went to study abroad. She always thought he was cute, they had a good time together, and she needed a date to a dance. She wasn't looking for a boyfriend at the time but you know how that goes… Turns out Mike had a crush on Michelle all along. We had their e-session in a place that could have been Plesantville – Medford Lakes, New Jersey, where Mike grew up. If it were any more adorable we would have been given ponies and ice cream upon entering the city limits. Yes, that's how cute it was.We took some pictures outside o ...

Engagement Session Photography in Philadelphia: Clare + Brian
Some people dread photography sessions. They worry they’re going to be making a really dumb face or that it’s going to be an excruciating experience with a lot of “turn your head just so and hold it for the next 30 minutes” or they’re just not too keen on having a camera pointed directly at them for an evening. I don’t know Brian’s reasoning but he was one of those people; he was completely nervous. What’s funny is that this group of people doesn’t take bad pictures. In fact, I would even say that this session would be in my top 5 of all time. Yeah, seriously. We didn’t hit up every Philadelphia attraction known to man, we didn’t go in ...
