Please tell me I’m not the only one who would get absolutely psyched to pick out new school supplies. Loose leaf paper, pencils, 3-ring binders, funky erasers, 5-subject notebooks, trapper keepers, LL Bean backpacks… A new school year is upon us. Just thinking about it brings up the nerves of the first day, laying out your clothes the night (or week) before, holding that crisp new schedule, figuring out if you had lunch hour with your very best friends, deciding if your teachers would let you get away with turning in an assignment late, checking the inside of your new books to see if you recognized the names of the former students, and just that rush of NEW SCHOOL YEAR.

I swear it just started a few days ago! March 20th was the first day of spring and, while the cherry blossoms and daffodils are starting to make an appearance, I'm still cautious about celebrating. We had a hail storm just the other day and it's still so cloudy and chilly. At least I haven't seen snow in a while (please don't jinx it!).So here's to hoping that we'll have just a few more April showers and many more May flowers.Enjoy!*Please note these imag ...

I Run to Stop MS
I've been training for the last few months to run my first half marathon next month. 13.1 miles and I'm doing it to raise money for the prevention, treatment, and cure of MS.Multiple sclerosis isn't fatal. A diagnosis doesn't mean it's time to run through a bucket list. But what it lacks in fatality it makes up for in disability and incredible challenges. It is a chronic, progressive disease.Multiple sclerosis turns the body against itself and attacks healthy parts of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord, optic nerves). Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, ...
