Julius and Clare met 9 months to the day of their proposal. It took one 13 hour first date and they both knew that they had found their one.
Julius called me to talk about a plan for photographing his proposal. We talked and emailed extensively to come up with the perfect plan to surprise Clare. Since it was February and Clare isn’t keen on cold weather, we needed something that she would agree to. He considered Morris Arboretum and the Rodin Museum but both were ruled out as being too problematic with rain. Longwood Gardens was perfect unless she didn’t want to go quite so far away that morning.

Bree + Scott: Engagement Session at Longwood Gardens
So a few things to mention about an engagement session I did at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA earlier this month.1) Bree and Scott are majestically tall (5'10" and 6'5", respectively). I am not.2) I can't believe this was the first time I had ever shot an engagement session here – the place was gorgeous. We arrived on a Sunday on the opening day of their Orchid Extravaganza.
