Tim + Charlie: Father / Daughter Session in Media

Family

Hellooooo cuteness!

I encountered an almost illegal amount of adorable last week when I photographed Charlotte (Charlie) last week at Tyler Arboretum. The day started out grey and drizzly and, while it’s not ideal weather for a photoshoot, I was looking forward to seeing Charlie in some boots for some fun puddle action. As fate would have it, the sky opened up as soon as I met with Tim and Charlie for some fantastic sunny skies.

And since it had just rained, we got some great puddle jumping action!

And sometimes you just need to take that tiny path into the sunlight and smell the flowers.

Really? Can something be this cute?

We were apparently pushing our luck when we went over to Rose Tree Park. Big puffy clouds turned into an overcast threat but not a single drop til we left the park. We had just enough time for loving on daddy and running around as a two-and-three-quarters-year-old should!

I brought some bubbles for a grand finale. Those wide open fields were just perfect for chasing bubbles!

You can’t say I didn’t warn you of the cuteness that is Charlie! Thank you Tim and little ladybug for a fantastic afternoon!

Philadelphia Maternity Photographer | Chestnut Hill | Moira + Brett
Once upon a time I photographed a beautiful couple.  They married in a magical place called Holly Hedge Estate with beautiful flowers and a crowd that danced all night long.  They live in Chestnut Hill with a cranky cat named Piper and I had the fortune of being brought into their lives again.  This time for a bump. Moira and Brett are due sometime this month so I met up with them at their Philly home for some maternity pictures. They don’t know the sex and aren’t telling names (it would help if they chose some!) but most are pretty certain that Moira has a boy in there and has been going by RJB for RickyJimBob. This sw ...

Meet Maggie.  Maggie is the one week old little peanut of Betsy and Steve.  They graciously let me come over and spend time with her last week. When Betsy first told me about the schedule they have of waking her every couple hours during the day, I thought she was a little crazy.  Then I realized that this kid really has mixed up day and night.  She wanted to sleep the entire time I was there.  The only time she made a peep was when we were poking at her to keep her from going over her allotted daytime nap. Maggie was born 1 week late.  Betsy’s sister had come to town with the mission to walk this baby out.  They planned a sight ...

Julia’s water broke at a friend’s barbecue.  Not very polite, Julia.  After some laboring, pushing was only 15 minutes and then there was Mara (vs. 2.5 hours with big brother, James). I met her when she was about 1 month old, sweet as can be.  I have known Matt and Julia for years after photographing their engagement session, Julia’s boudoir, and wedding many years ago. Matt found the name Mara and they were sold.  Julia might credit The Crown for Mara’s middle name, Elizabeth.  It’s a gorgeous name. Little Mara makes great snortle sounds and cute baby sighs when she loses a sneeze. Mara’s nursery was James’ old s ...
