Tina + Stephan: Winery Wedding in Los Gatos with Julie Cheshire

Wedding

As promised, here are some images from a beautiful wedding I shot with the talented Julie from Julie Cheshire Photography this past winter.

The couple, Tina and Stephan, were a lot of fun. We showed up several hours before the ceremony so we really got to take our time with the getting ready, couple, and formal portraits.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of white calla lilies while Tina had an all white bouquet of calla lilies, roses and what else, stephanotis (get it: Stephan, stephanotis…).

I loved Tina’s cute little bun with the mini gardenias that smelled lovely every time she passed by.

As you can see here, Tina was awesome!

The event was held at Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos, CA. They had some great sites for pictures and we were there at just the right time for the leaves to change to a truly stunning yellow (yes, it really looked like that in real life!).

I absolutely love this tender moment.

I must say that I was incredibly impressed with Stephan’s dipping skills. We call this the “Hollywood Kiss”. Getting that low is quite a feat.

The ceremony was held in their wine cave later that evening. It was a very cool set up with dark chiavari chairs and the wedding party at the top of the hall flanked by crystal, orchid, and candle branch displays.

The reception was beautiful too. More white orchids and silver chargers on every table and a very classy three-tier square cake. The placecards were made of individual corks to bring in more of the winery feel.

The couple had a choreographed first dance to Etta James’ “At Last”.

It was a beautiful evening. The details were beautiful and classy and the whole party was down to earth and really laid back. It was just perfect.

All the best!

The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at you

At Last, Etta James

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts | Stevie + Brandon
I have no doubt you’ve been dying to see more of Stevie and Brandon’s PAFA wedding since I first posted their teaser and Rittenhouse Square engagement session the other month. This offbeat pair is spectacular and their wedding was an absolute delight.  There was no doubt in my mind that it would be something special since I first got on the phone with Stevie and she told me about her wedding plans that involved skulls, a gunmetal handmade dress, the groom’s alma mater, and all manner of special touches. Stevie got ready at Le Meridien on a rainy Philadelphia day.  If you’ve met Stevie, you’ll know that this really wasn’t a concern.  She ...
