Rock the Vote

Wedding

Pacific Weddings Magazine recently ran a contest to see which image they would print on the back page of their 10 year anniversary Winter/Spring 2009 issue.

They were looking for an image with a NOSTALGIC feel (note: not necessarily an old photo, but one that has a nostalgic sensibility). The photo was to capture a magical, emotional moment in a wedding celebration. It can be any extraordinary shot that instantly conveys emotion. This full page picture will appear on the Last Word page facing the back cover of the magazine. I entered a shot from Amanda and Justin’s wedding from this summer that I second shot with FC Wong.

It’s a very simple voting process, just post a quick comment with the number and image name (#9 Tenderly) with a brief comment. I am honored to have won a spot amongst these top 10 finalists!

I’m so surprised at how many people have already voted so get out there and get me that spot on Pacific Weddings!

Katie + Seth: Fall Wedding at St. Anastasia & the Willows
Perhaps you'll remember Katie and Seth from their lovely e-session we did in Chestnut Hill a few months ago. If their e-session was lovely, their wedding was incredible. Perfect temperature, just enough puffy clouds, just enough wind.We started the day at The Willows in Radnor as the girls were getting ready and rocking out to Lady Gaga. There were tons of beautiful details, like the necklace and garter that Katie found on Etsy. (The gorgeous garter was made from an old antique brooch, new silk, lace borrowed from a dress, and blue silk.)I ...

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel | Courtney + Ryan
I have known Courtney for a long, long time. We went to elementary school together. When I moved back to Philadelphia from San Francisco a few years ago, she welcomed me with open arms and let me know that I would be photographing her wedding, whenever that may be to whomever that may be. I guess it was about a year or so later that she met Ryan while they were both working at Campbell’s (yeah, of Campbell’s soup). Check out this post for their engagement session in New Jersey. On the day of their wedding, I showed up at Courtney’s parents’ house in Ardmore. Courtney was so excited to show me, and I was so excited to see, her incredible m ...
